I came up with this idea this morning, what you think?
REASON
more simulation, kind of realism and challenge
GOALS
- make hunting experience harder by using backpacks cause they make animals spook earlier
- center a reality based reason to go hunting in the game, bring back food or a trophy and earn money
MECHANICS
- the player get contracts to harvest specific animals either for trophy or for meat
- you have to bring the trophy or meat back to a lodge to complete the contract
- you need equipment capacity/backpacks to load up the meat or trophy or both
there could be mechanics about skill and shot placement which defines how much meat you can harvest from an animals but maybe thats too much?
