Any map that had both of these bears together with both of them having a Go version would be amazing. Let's make this happen.

Well, the biggest problem with this suggestion is that SRP is in fact not in Montana. The map is located in Colorado. But, I would like to see an animal backfilled/added to SRP, although preferably a smaller game animal such as coyote or fox.

#

And yes, grizzly would be a pretty neat GO for them to add into the game eventually

@upbeat phoenix it's the same mountain range as Colorado

#

Layton lakes in based on Washington state area and they have Black bear and Grizzly. You can't hunt the Grizzly because the low population but it would be cool to see this on Layton as well.

Perhaps grizzly could go on Layton, but there aren’t any Grizzly in Colorado. So they can’t put grizzly on SRP

dreamy mica
#

It's a game so they actually could if they decided to but I get what you are trying to say.

#

@upbeat phoenix They used to have grizzlies in Colorado but people hunted them all out. Last one seen was 1951 in Colorado. So yes they aren't there now but used to be. So its not that far of a stretch

@dreamy mica A little background info on this topic as it seems maybe you are unaware. They had previously planned to add blacktail deer to SRP, but due to them not living in that area IRL they decided against. So it would be very hypocritical of them to turn around and add grizzly, which also do not live in that area.

dreamy mica

@upbeat phoenix not really because blacktail deer never lived in Colorado that I can find. I may be wrong on that but I can't find evidence they did ever live there. Grizzlies have lived there they just went extinct.

While they are at it maybe they can add mammoths and saber tooth tigers

dreamy mica

@upbeat phoenix I think that's a little further back than 1951🤣

I'm surprised this is getting thumbs downs. SRP would be amazing with these changes. Must not be many bear hunters in here.

It would probably have more upvotes if it was just about how Great One Grizzlies could look in game, but that is simply just my opinion

@deft jackal what would you think about adding to Layton lakes. They do exist there. I'm just wanting some type of map that has Grizzly and black bear on the same map and I don't see them add a new map like that yet. Back filling is my only chance probably

@restive onyx just up voted it. That would be amazing!

#

I'm down with any map that has both Grizzly and black bear

#

Put Grizzly bear and Black bear on the same map, but make the Grizzly a great one

Would the thumbs down votes on here have a change of interest in this if I removed the great one for the Grizzly bear part of this? It would be great to have both bears on the same map by either backfilling previous reserves or on a new one all together.

@brittle latch Layton lakes is based on Washington state and Yukon is based on Canada Alaska area. Washington state has both Grizzly and Black Bear but Grizzly bears are protected due to lower numbers of population but they both do live here. I'm a current resident of this state. Yukon has Black bear and Grizzly but I'm not familiar with any hunting restrictions they have.

I will upvote, I just couldn't think of a place where you could hunt both

I think backfilling the Black Bear to Yukon Valley is a better idea than backfilling the Grizzly Bear on Layton. Yukon Valley is confirmed to be located in Alaska through the missions on the map, and Black bears have a pretty wide range across most of mainland Alaska and can be hunted there. By contrast, Grizzlies have a very small population in Washington State that is limited to only a few areas of the state where they can't even be hunted. In my opinion, backfilling Black Bears to Yukon Valley makes far more sense than backfilling Grizzlies to Layton.

#

Also, by the way, that range map is from the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, you can find it on their website.

@stray wave but it is a game it doesn't have to be 100 percent accurate. Jaxy even said that in one of his streams. They do live there so it's not to extreme to add them to a game. Just saying

@stray wave But it would be cool to have them on Layton also 🤣 Sorry I just love hunting bears.
