The tall grass/reeds that are present on nearly every map in the game are very lag inducing, especially on consoles. Looking through the binoculars at these lakes straight up makes PS4 Pro consoles run at 3-4 fps.
Optimizations have to be made. Either that or remove the grass and reeds entirely so that we can actually hunt around lakes without our game slowing down to less than 10fps.

This isn’t a “urghh remove grass cuz I can’t see animal when grind” post. This has nothing to do with grinding and everything to do about whether I (and other console players) can actually play the game around certain areas or not. Not everyone can just buy a stupendous PC whenever they want to mitigate these issues. This would make life just a bit easier for console players
Agreed, I have a a ps4 pro too, and thick grass or heavy vegetation really pull the performance down. I've had times were passing through the grass made the whole thing lag to the point of rubberbanding so badly i avoid the reeds/tall grass altogether and abandon most animals that go down in it for fear of a crash
Precisely. Now imagine trying to hunt waterfowl around water, or trying to hunt an animal’s drink zone if my game can barely fucking function. This, along with other adjustments to performance, would be greatly appreciated by the console playerbase
