Estonia is a great country for hunting. Here you can find moose, roe deer, foxes, wild boars, red deer, beavers, hares, ducks, geese, lynx, wolves, seals, jackals, brown bears and lots of more animals. Estonia has more a flat landscape with beatuiful forests and large fields. It also has swampy land and reedy seashore. I've always wanted a map of my country to hunt on.

Maybe. Would you make this a snow map?
It would be cool to have snow on this map but it is also very beautiful during other seasons.
What weapons would you want in the map? Or would you want equipment instead?
It could be like Yukon with how the snow works
Yeah. That'd be nice.
Well as for the weapons, it's really up to Expansive Worlds but one cool thing to have there would be these feeding places, or how do you call it, and also trail cameras. It's classical to hunt here with that equipment.
Well you could have suggestions for weapons.
Again, trail cameras just don’t really work well in game
Then maybey like food pellets to lure nearby animals in
I’m also against that. We’ve already got need zones so there’s not any point
Well it's classical to use .308 bolt action rifels and 12 gauge shotguns here. This combo works on all animals here.
Ye but the pellets would work like callers but instead of them coming right at you, you could lure them to someplace open
Do you have a general list of animals that would appear on this reserve, because I get the feeling it is a more big game focused reserve. I also saw seals mentioned, this would make it the second reserve with seals, alongside my Arctic Reserve (Ringed Seals). Also is that seal in the picture the kind you get in Estonia?
I have a feeling that’d fall to the same fate as scents, not used
We have mostly grey seals and one more specie but I don't know how do you call this in english. I'll look it up
Harbour Seals?
These are the seals you can find in Estonia
The first seal @ancient willow looks like a harp seal.
I was looking it up and the other seal species in Estonia seems to be the Ringed Seal, which I have on my Canadian Arctic Reserve
It' ringed seal
Oh okay. They both look very similar
Yeah
Seals are an interesting species. I assume they’d have the same behavior as gators with the sinking thing but they would be a heck of a lot slower, right?
Well. I think shooting them on land would be the best.
But aren’t they always close to water so they’d run to it for safety?
I could see this reserve being an interesting reserve with familiar species like Red Deer and Boar alongside seal, beaver and more
Well if they're in the water they disappear quite fast. Basically the only way to get them in the water is a headshot
Mostly they tend to stay in the water. The may clib onto rocks in the water and on ice in the winter
I think with seals especially if they are in the water they need to make them float. Other wise itd be impossible to hunt them in the water.
I just looked up some animals there and I think if we get the map it needs wolverine, gray wolf, otter, mink, beaver, lynx, brown bear, swan, cranes, variety of ducks, variety of geese, boar and red deer
Crane? The only legalized crane hunting I know about is Sandhill Crane in the US & Canada
I don't want wolf's on another map. We already have three maps with wolves.
Yeah there are lots of small game aswell but we aren't used to hunt them so much. Mostly beaver, fox, hare, raccoon dog and even badger
Well there are only about 200 registred wolves in Estonia somehow. But we still hunt them
Thats a good selection of game: a Second reserve for European Hare and Raccoon Dog, a first for European Badger and we get our revenge on the Beaver, I’d say that is a good selection of small game already
Beaver automatically gets a G1.
My tents, stands and blinds demand vengeance
I have never had that happen to me.
For the maps in NA I think Layton, Mississippi, and NEM are the maps that could use beavers.
Yukon and Revontouli are 2 other maps that could also use beavers
Beavers for every map. Imagine seeing a beaver in Vurhonga.
With Estonia having forest and swamps I realized it would be very fitting for the G1 Red Deer since it has random plants stuck to it’s antlers
Red deer live in Estonia?
We also have cappercaillie, black grouse, red grouse, hazel grouse, brant goose, barnacle goose, Canada goose, grey goose, white-fronted goose and lots more
Be nice to have a map that's more focused on upland birds than waterfowl.
Yes and there are lots of them in Saaremaa(the biggest island in Estonia)
Okay. Never knew that. Are similar to red deer on new Zealand?
Unfortunately here they tend to have smaller racks because we hunt a lot of them
That's actually better. Would love some variety in red deer.
Couple of antlers I have found
But we also have antlers like these
That's really cool. Be nice to have different kinds of antlers for red deer.
Here is a quick species list I whipped up based on info I could find, feel free to change it as you see fit @ancient willow

- Moose
- Red Deer
- European Brown Bear
- Wild Boar
- Roe Deer
- Grey Seal - Class 3

You can shoot cormorants in Estonia?
A handful of European countries allow it
I think one Canadian Province also allows the hunting of Cormorant as a varmint species
Of course. They make a mess here eating fish and defecating everywhere.
Be fun to shoot them with an air rifle.
I think we could potentially get a new Combination gun chambered in 308 & 12 Gauge either as an Over/Under or a Drilling like the one we have in one of the DLCs
