The 470 is probably the least used weapon in the game along side the 45 colt pistol because it is so much weaker than it should be. Yeah the penetration is insane but it still takes like 15 or 20 seconds to take down a Buffalo. A moose can run a long time after being shot by it and you STILL don't get integrity so what does that tell ya? It's a class 9 weapon that can barely take down class 8 animals from over 120 yards unless it's shot in the heart. The 6.5 can take down bull rocky elk IRL in one shot from 700+ yards away. Often time it drops them. It's much more powerful than portrayed in the game.

If what you are looking for is insta-kill that is not realistic, even hitting the heart the animals run, that same mechanic was implemented to the moose so that they do not fall immediately when they receive a heart shot.
Although they still have more life points than the other animals, it doesn't matter what you shoot them with, they will still run far, it is not a problem of the weapons but of the moose with armor

The .470 is a close range weapon, it’s an extremely powerful rifle but you must understand it’s limits. It tests your abilities to get in close to the animals and rewards you with extreme power. Stuff like the .338 and 300 are still far weaker and I don’t think should be class 9 mainly because it’s not legal irl to hunt cape buff and lion with less that .375 or 9.3.

The 6.5 needs a buff bad. I think the 470 is good where it is. You can't do much more penetration.

The problem with 6.5 is what is it based off of? It just says 6.5. Like is it 6.5 prc, 6.5 Swedish, 6.5 creedmoor or something else? Also is the bullet 90 grain, 143 grain or something in between or bigger? These are the kind of info e.w really needs to add so we can get a better idea of how a weapon should preform.
