#World War 2 rifles for in game hunting

It would be very fun to have more surplus world war 2 rifles in game. Here are a few that would be fun.

  1. Springfield 1903. Caliber 30-06, accuracy 30 recoil 86, weight 4 kg, capacity 5rds,

  2. SVT-40. Caliber 7.62x54R. accuracy 33.
    Recoil 69, weight 4kg, 5rds.

  3. Carcano 1895. Caliber 6.5, accuracy 33,
    Recoil 59, weight 3.5 kg, 5rds.

  4. Kar 98K. Caliber 8x57, accuracy 35,
    Recoil 86, weight 4kg, 5rds.

  5. Arisaka Type 99. Caliber 7.7mm
    Recoil 78, Accuracy 31, weight 4kg, 5rds.

They would also have different optics for them as well.

The Springfield would have a Weaver Model 330/330C scope. Fixed magnification 2.75x.

SVT-40 would have a Mosin PU sight with a fixed magnification of 3.5x.

Carcano 1895 would have a modified to fit Weaver scope. Same as the Springfield.

Kar 98 K would have a classic Zeiss 4x power scope with a German sniper forepost reticle.

The Arisaka would have a Arisaka style sniper scope on it. Forgot the name.

I can see that. I just though it would be fun to have them since the M1 and Mosin were in it as well.

I can see a number of these being added to the game, I know Classic has several such as the Lee-Enfield Rifle chambered in 303, the Kar98k and the Springfield 1903A1.

Lmao any rifle can be used for hunting animals in the right hands @slate fjord. As well as being used the other way around. The game already has some anyway. Why not add more? Great additions to expand the armory

There's already some weapons from WW2 in the game though, the M1 and Mosin are both examples of that

Personally I'd love to see the Springfield 1903 in the game, that would allow us to hunt with another rifle chambered in .30-06, my favorite caliber personally. The Kar 98K and Arisaka would also be pretty nice additions to give us a little more variety in calibers.

I enjoy historical weapons in general, so getting any more of those in the game would just be the icing on the cake for what we already have, for me personally

A weapon pack containing sporterized/modern versions of WW1 - WW2 rifles could be interesting, though many would simply be more 4-8 rifles and ion want that

This is a little off topic but its war related. I would love to see a Model 70 winchester. Were popular during ww2 and used in vietnam
