This reserve is set in the Eastern Cape of South Africa, with a big valley in the middle surrounded by mountains on both sides. It is the perfect place to hunt animals such as the Kudu, Black Wildebeest and Mountain Zebra, and there is a chance you may even encounter the Fallow Deer. Those seeking to pursue upland game will have many opportunities to bag species like the Grey-winged Francolin and Helmented Guineafowl with a Shotgun. Should you wish to help relieve some pressure on the local communities grab a good rifle and set your sights on the large hordes of Chacma Baboon, or train your favourite varmint gun on species like Egyptian Goose and Vervet Monkey.

The Scout Rifle and the 357 Airgun

I figured I would go ahead and put forward one of my ideas for a future African reserve that focuses on Plains Game and Small Game animals

And the bird species of the reserve

The scout rifle would be excellent as a 7mm-08. A 5 round capacity would be good as well.

Yeah, I figured it would be a good weapon for hunting on this reserve and reserves like Te Awaroa or Rancho

A rough idea of what you will be hunting in on this reserve

I like this idea, although one more species I'd like to see here is the Bushpig

The other 2 new species added to the list (the 4th species I added to the list is the Scrub Hare from Vurhonga)

By the way, here's some more ideas for what the landscape of this map could look like.

I could probably replace the Serval with Black-backed Jackal, it would still be a class 2 animal

oh yeah definitely, I think it would be really neat and interesting to have a "Two Wildebeest Types" multimount with a Black Wildebeest and a Blue Wildebeest standing side-by-side

Nah, a number of the hunting areas in Africa are well known not so much for the dangerous game but their plains game species

My only issue with this maps is the lack of impala

fleet lynx
lilac lodge
#

yeah, it should have been the class 4 for vurhonga instead of the lesser kudu imo, it's iconic to african hunting

fleet lynx
lilac lodge
#

The lesser kudu in game seems more scrawny than they should too, i feel like they were supposed to be impala but someone decided to change the model before it got in game

New Species added to the list: Impala, Cape Grysbok, Springhare & Yellow-billed Duck

How big is the gyrsbok? class 1?

fleet lynx

How about a dikdik? adults weight between eight and ten pounds

fleet lynx

Ahh gotcha, I been reading about the tiny ten and got too stuck on them lol

#

I'd love to see this map in game, Africa could support 5 maps i think, and they'd all be different despite sharing a few animals

fleet lynx

#

Elephants would be nice, but Africa has so many cool game animals they aren't the only animal for the next africa map. the bushpig and giant forest hog are infinitely better than warthogs imo

fleet lynx

they're weirdly pretty for pigs, i must say

Updated the 7mm-08 HP Bullets to be Class 3-7
In the context of this reserve I think its fine

While I don't dislike this at all, this proposal is (like most of the others) essentially **Vurhonga **2.0 but with other animals. Since Africa is a such a huge continent why not some region other than south Africa?

# lusty raft While I don't dislike this at all, this proposal is (like most of the others) es...

That is a bold statement to compare it to Vurhonga, this reserve is lacking some misplaced antelope from East Africa and some European waterfowl lol

But in all seriousness, this was designed to be a Plains Game/Small Game focused reserve with a lot of mountainous terrain (hence the absence of dangerous game)

(Another reserve I put together that had more focus on Dangerous Game and Antelope is set in https://discord.com/channels/393040947006406657/1099469747323670729)

Yes, Ethiopia would be cool, but really any thing that is not essentially Vurhonga 2.0, which is what most of the Africa 2.0 proposals seem to be. Don't get me wrong! Hirschfelden is also a great reserve, but I would likewise not want to have (say) a new Austrian map that is essentially the same thing but with ibex (for example), when we could have Turkey or the Balkans instead. I really like having new environments to hunt, as well as the new animals of course. Just my opinion of course; I'll be happy with anything really.

It'd be best if the New map was different, Vurhonga could be so much better if it was reworked with the care they've shown the newer maps. (also, black wildebeest)
