Auto Inventory

What if every time you equip a gun, ammo, binoculars, sight, caller, consumable, or structure, it automatically gets placed in your equipment wheel or slot. I hate having to waste time placing every gun in a slot or placing my ammo with a certain gun. I think this would be a huge time saver. This would also help people spend more time hunting then organizing their equipment. This could be a setting that you could turn off and on according to your preference.

This is something I’ve never thought about that could actually be fantastically useful. Maybe having an option to disable it if someone prefers it that way, but also automatically equipping your scope and ammo of choice would be a nice QOL feature

This is already a thing with loadouts. When you equip a loadout it is saved to whatever spots you had it in previously

How’s it supposed to know where you want stuff then?

It places them in the same order you put your stuff in the inventory in the cache. Either way, it will help if you already have the right bullets and scope on your gun

If they were to do that I’d want it to be optional. Many people (including me) have preferences on where their items are placed

It takes 3 seconds to equip items to the wheel, you open the item wheel, press quickload keys and equip all bullets and scopes and they stay in the Loadout forever or until you remove the weapon from inventory..
I don't think it's necessary to create a new mechanic that will surely break everything to save those 10 or 12 seconds..
