Love this idea, and honestly wouldn't mind both grizzly and black bear on one map

Glad to hear it

If there's one species I'd add to the ones you have here, it would be the Canada Lynx. This species could also have a multimount with it chasing a Snowshoe Hare, since the Snowshoe Hare is the main prey of the Canada Lynx.

Also, I know we're all exhausted by how many maps we've gotten with Moose on them (especially recently), but this technically could be another map with Moose.

Fair enough

Here are some more images of the Sitka Blacktail Deer, Stone Sheep and Mountain Caribou. I think these three big animals would be the real stars of this map.

Have you thought about what weapon could come with this map?

Probably the 300 Savage Lever-Action (making it a class 4-9 rifle)

@placid kite What do you think about having the Grizzly and black bear having feed zones during the day on some shallow waterfalls on here as well?

@placid kite I seen someone post the other day that Roosevelt Elk could be added to Te Awaroa. You are really knowledgeable on the animal locations. Do you think that would be a possibility?

Hey I have a question for you. Jaxy mentioned in the stream that if Roosevelt and Rocky Mountain Elk was to ever get a GO they would have to be on the same map. A Whole BC map with different biomes or just a Southern BC map with different biomes is the only way that would happen sticking with everything based on real life. What are the chances you would alter this map design to fit those parameters and maybe add some better options for everyone. Or would you care if I did a BC map design? You had BC first so I don't want to step on anybodys toes but really want those Elk as GOs. I mean they are Elk could you imagine. Even if they don't get made to be GOs I still want the Roosevelt and Blacktail added to another map. Sorry for the long post.

The Sierra Wildlands map to me seemed like a good one for having both types of elk alongside the Tule Elk and Black-tail Deer

If your trying to stick with real-life, then your going to be stretching it as Rossevelt’s Elk in BC seem restricted to Vancouver Island, Sunshine Coast, the western slope of the Coast Mountains and some other spots (https://www.bcoutdoorsmagazine.com/the-big-bulls-of-bcs-rainforest-roosevelt-elk/)

Rocky Mountain Elk on the other hand seem to mainly inhabit the eastern half of the province and the Thompson-Okanagan region (and as a result are the most numerous subspecies)

No offense to California but it just can't compare to BC in my opinion. I just don't get that immersion feeling when I think about California. I was thinking if they just put Black-tail and Roosevelt on the west side of the map in their own Biome it would be based on real life. The east side for Rockys. They both would have to have different biomes. More of the rainforest type on the west side and more of the high dessert on the east.

The problem is the community is not going to get on board with anything in the states.

@placid kite So I take it no altering this to add different biomes in BC?

@placid kite Do you know if EW has ever stated this is how they feel also. I haven't been in the Discord that long so I wouldn't know.

@placid kite This map right here you have could be 10 times a better hunt if we just bend a tad. I would like to know also. I hate to down grade our options when just a little bend would blow our socks off lol.

I get it. I think it could kinda be sweet to be in rainforest type environment on one side of the map and by the time you get to the other side you are in the high dessert larch trees. It's not for everyone though.

@placid kite I found a picture of the range. I don't see it as a black-tail on SRP type bend. As you see the amount of Rocky mountain elk slowly decrease the closer you get to the coast. I think you should do it lol.
