That never happen, when the game was released the creators were opposed to that type of hunting and said that "we would never see that type of hunting in Cotw", there are associations against this type of hunting that hunter organizations, placing it in the game would revive the controversy

In reality the dogs never catches the Animal they just drive it in the direction of the hunter so that the hunter can shoot it .... or drive the animal so that it can be treed. In the case of small game like rabbits, squirrels and raccoons this is a perfectly valid way to hunt. But as animals get larger such as bears, bobcats and even puma's I can say that killing an animal in a tree can be seen as unsporting.
