need help with crashing

I’m on Xbox and tried to load a loud out and my game crashed now when ever I load it it crashes has been doing it since yesterday I re installed game reset Xbox nothing worked but I can open if I go on a different account

I've been looking for a way to access save files on xbox to do backups of them but apparently its impossible.

There used to be a file explorer for xbox but Microsoft killed it off. There are third party apps but they cant access the data, let alone overwriting it in case of save corruption.

So at this time there seems to be no way to do backups of saves on this platform and anyone who gets this issue has to start from scratch 🤷‍♂️

All because I logged in and used a feature the way it was supposed to be used

I'm not taking responsibility for the following, so do it at your own discretion/peril:

If you go to My Games and Apps
then with COTW selected press start
In the dropdown menu select** Manage game and add-ons**
Then Saved data
in this window you have the option to Delete All.

That should delete your entire save, but make sure to do it while connected to the internet so it wipes Microsofts cloud save as well.

But like I said, I can't take responsibility for this and you really need to contact EW to get confirmation that your save is toast before you do this.

Btw, this is not happening because you used the loadout system. This is not your fault, and literally every player that has logged in since the showcase update has inadvertently used a loadout because this is a core function of the game now.

Edit: DO NOT DELETE YOUR SAVE. The hotfix supposedly fixes the corrupted data.

Thank you, I wasn’t going to delete my save yet I just wanted to know if for the future if my save is unfixable

I ended up just deleting mine and restarting the loadouts seem to be fine for me now

Ik I saw that and I feel genuinely sorry for everyone who deleted their saves

I wonder if there’s any way for them to roll it back to before it was deleted? I just had that done on gta because of migrating
