#tobii Eyetracker - Aim at gaze not working

Hi @woven kettle, thank you for reporting this to us! Would you mind providing us with a video or some screenshots showcasing the issue? We'll also need to know your game's version.
This has been broken for years, at least since 2020. (And reported years ago as well.) There are 2 issues at least. 1) "Aim at Gaze" for bows and crossbows is completely wrong. It just doesn't work. B) When raising binos or scopes to have a look often results in a short hang where you cannot move; the second time you try, it works fine, though it will lock up again after a short time. Obviously, when trying to aim to shoot, this is a serious annoyance. This has been so annoying that I stopped using the Tobii for COTW (which is why I got it in the first place); it was great when it worked, but nothing but irritating when it stopped working.
Here is a video I made in 2020 and sent to tech support. It needs to be updated (and it has no sound!), but the essentials for the bows in particular are the same. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tc7tC-gT-Dc
Target is the top of the mountain in the right top corner. You can see that the center of the screen is moving slowly towards the target by reaping the aiming function.
Sometimes I the function works as intended and the center of the screen jumps direct to the target.
Sometimes the mouse got stuck and you cant move the screen and have top repeat the aim process to get mouse control back.
Looks like you're getting similar results to myself. The locking up part is the most annoying. BTW, if you turn "Gaze Trace" on in Tobii, it will put a visual blob that moves to where you are looking so others can see as well. I used it in my own video.
Could you try with a bow and crossbow? I found them to be the worse offenders
Yeah - I tried that but Steel Series Moments did not show that for which reason whatsoever
Same results at the first look - seems broken no matter which weapon you use
when using a controller bino at gaze works fine - aim at gaze seems totally wired and aims always in a total but fixed direction.
