I've been looking at the reserves map and Asia doesn't have that many reserves so a Philippines Reserve Thailand are cool aswell but im here to talk about a Mongolian Reserve

Northen Mongolian Valleys Reserve

As for Animals-

Altai Wapiti (a subspecies of Elk) - Class 8
Brown Bear - Class 7
Gray Wolf - Class 5
Altai Argali - Class 4
Siberian Ibex - Class 4
Wild Boar - Class 4
Siberian Roe Deer - Class 3
Black-tailed Gazelle - Class 3
Eurasian Lynx - Class 3
Siberian Musk Deer - Class 2
Red Fox - Class 2

And we can also add some generic animals that are common anywhere like
Red Fox
Roe Deer
Musk Deer
etc

As for Biomes-
Right Top is going to be full of mountains with some snowy parts
Left Top is Going to be a forest full of snow
Left Down is kind of a forest
Right Down a Desert

Outposts can be Tents

Weapons we can have the Mongolian Snaplock Carbine, a Recurve Bow TI/104, and some sort of pistol like a Flintlock or a shotgun.

lmk what you guys think about this reserve idea.

The three animals I think that should be taken off are the snow leopard, Pallas cat, and the wild horse. Other than that great list of animals. Because they are endangered. The snow leopard is critically endangered.

Well if i have to take off the snow leopard it will take a bit of the specialty of the map and the pallas cat i can change it for the eurasian lynx, the wild horse is/ or was idk, a endangered species of horse and unique to that desert ( Gobi Desert ), so i get ur point.

Saiga antelope is in critical endangered too

#

Wild bactrian camel too

Well its an idea, idk if they dont make it so the endangered animals go to the game just like elephants and rhinos but i think the reserve looks good with those animals,

It is studio policy not to add endangered animals

Ahh ok, , the antelope are still 1.3M left ( idk if its true its according to wikipedia), but i think there is simply a normal Camel that is not endangered and instead of putting the Bactrian Camel they just put Wild Camel.

the antelope can be changed with some generic deer like roe deer and other and the camel just change it to a regular camel

The Camel can just be scrapped

The Camel, Przewalski Horse and Saiga Antelope couldn't be included because they're all too endangered and they'd probably be too controversial to add

Here's an alternative species list that I think would be a lot more likely to actually happen:

Altai Wapiti (a subspecies of Elk) - Class 8
Brown Bear - Class 7
Gray Wolf - Class 5
Altai Argali - Class 4
Siberian Ibex - Class 4
Wild Boar - Class 4
Siberian Roe Deer - Class 3
Black-tailed Gazelle - Class 3
Eurasian Lynx - Class 3
Siberian Musk Deer - Class 2
Red Fox - Class 2

The Altai Wapiti would be an effective alternative to the red deer (which doesn't seem to actually live in Mongolia) and would negate the need to have another large ungulate like the camel (which is way too endangered to include in the game).

Changed, thanks for the Idea, although now i see it alot of the wildlife in mongolia is endangered, so making a alternative map instead of just mongolia it could be China + Mongolia there we would have alot more animals to add .

Oh that would be SENSATIONAL a reserve somewhere in Asia .. some type of colored tundra and flooded grasslands, with some dry wasteland .. something similar to Yukon Valley but very native to Asia and with animals from there .. would be my wet dreams and that of many friends who play COTW 🤩

I think a lot of people want Africa 2, Australia, and an Arctic map right now, so it's going to be pretty difficult to get much traction with anything else. A lot of people are also expecting a European map next, so those types of ideas are gaining a lot of support too. However, I think that could change. Depending on what the next map is, there might be more support for an Asian map in six months. It's too early to say for sure
