#Audio Crackling/Delay/Reverb?

Good morning! Is anyone else having an issue with their in-game audio after the update? Mine is crackling/delaying/reverbing and making it impossible to play. I've tried verifying game files, a full uninstall/reinstall of the game itself, updating drivers, changing the audio bit depth from DVD quality (4800 hz) to CD quality (2600 hz).

My next attempts today will be to uninstall my audio device and reinstall it as well as drivers, and if that doesn't work... it must be either an in-game or sound card issue. The computer is only 2 years old, so the latter seems unlikely.

Is anyone else experiencing this? Has any one resolved a similar issue? Help! I want to play! Thank you!

no problem, this does sound like a game issue if you haven't changed anything else.

Gosh I really hope not, but short of changing the sound card I am not sure what else to try. Even then, I don't know that a new card would help if it's in-game.

does your mobo not have an integrated sound output you haven't tried?

If we leave aside the jokes and that you gave us a whole lineup of notebooks, the lowest spec one that matches is fairly ok in performance and should be running the game well.
