NEM population redistribution’s

NEM was pretty heavily said to be a great map for GO grinding however the way the 3 GO species are spread out on the map makes it quite the opposite. I feel this is clearly evident by the sheer lack of great ones you see posted coming from the map having only seen maybe 3 or 4 in the entire 4 months the map has been out. I would suggest making changes to the current home ranges of atleast some of these species to make finding and hunting the zones less daunting of a task as it is now. This would be a great incentive for players who want to grind and haven’t gotten the map to purchase it already and also to get much of the player base who have left NEM behind to come back to it

Leave NEM alone it's great .... All maps don't need to be the same ....

I think OP actually has a good point. On NEM, all of the big game species are found literally everywhere. If you're trying to hunt Whitetails or Moose or Black Bears, you literally have to visit every single inch of water on the map if you want to hunt those species effectively. That's a lot of work, and people aren't going to do that if there's a ton of other maps where you can hunt those species more easily.

Maybe for NEM they could make it so that Moose are only on the northern half of the map. Maybe Black Bears and Whitetail Deer could still be scattered around the whole map, but some areas could be better for finding them than others. I think that would make NEM a more attractive map for players who want to do GO grinds, like it was seemingly intended to be.

I dont think NEM was ever intended to be a grinders map. Its a hunter/explorers map. We already have lots of map for grinding. As stated earlier not all maps need to be the same. NEM is fine as is

The map is perfect except moose black bear and whitetail being map wide make moose east half whitetail west half and have black bear more north only would be perfect

Same with Finland moose being south half and whitetail like how they are or just a little more north only would be amazing

I would have to disagree with you many times in the streams NEM was made out to be a good grinding map as the main selling point

They built up all that hype about having 3 GOs on the map before the map's release, and they didn't intend it to be a map for GO grinding? That doesn't make any logical sense.

I mean, with the way some people utilize herd management, grinders are already perfectly capable of basically turning the game into a GO shooting range. I sincerely doubt that a population redistribution on NEM would make it any easier for people to do that in the game, so I don't see your point here.

When talking about Hype/marketing you naturally want to initially appeal to everyone . So the map was hyped both ways in order to maximize dlc sales.... Thats why they hired Jaxy because he is able to do that. Hey he even showed off the GO moose on NEM and they included all the GO's on the map. But from a design standpoint it obviously is not a grinders map and now we have people trying to make it a map for grinding and it was obviously never designed to be one.
