Paleontology 101 is not unlocking on Medved

Xbox achievement is not unlocking I’ve collected everything and then went and double checked - I’ve read about this being a common glitch - any solutions apart from new game 🤷‍♂️

This seems to happen when you enter medved in a multiplayer session. It seems that one of the collectebles just disappears during multiplayer and because you cant collect it anymore you are locked out of the trophy. Solution is to first collect everything and avoid multiplayer untill you have the trophy.

Also i found this on steam in an collectibles guide:

Important information: After picking up a collectible item or visiting a PoI/Landmark, please continue to play for at least 5 minutes before leaving the game (don't exit the game immediately). Otherwise, the game stats will not be saved correctly and you will not be able to unlock some achievements until you start a new game. This bug has been reported, but not yet fixed!

The author is Nucta Ox and you find that guide on steam. It is there also mentioned that you should backup your save, start a new game and collect or visit (whatever trophy you after) everything in one session. Then just restore your save. That worked for the peoples commenting that guide. Hope that can help someone here.

I have never entered multiplayer at all

Thats how it was in my case. When collecting stuff in singleplayer it vanishes. If you enter multiplayer everything is there again, but its transparant and you cant collect it anymore. At least everything you allready collected. But there is one collectible that becomes transparant and inaccesable during multiplayer.

However if you never played multiplayer then it is probably the second option that i mentioned or you just havent collect everything. Use the guide i mentioned and go to every single point. If you really have all, then you can backup your save (at least on PS/ pc) and restart. Get everything in one Session then.

I’m on Xbox, and I already checked everything just to make sure it wasn’t me before I posted - there’s other glitched achievements on Medved too, I may start a new game and re collect at some point in future but maybe they will actually fix it completely so I won’t have to 🤷‍♂️😂

That would be the best solution. But i fear that too many ppl just dont care about archivments and collectibles so this will probably never get a fix.. i still hope you make it, i was able to claim my trophy on ps4 but it also needed me to do a restart. Good luck
