#Reward ethical hunting with lower hunting pressure

For example, if you shoot a herd of deer with a clean, vital shot and the correct ammo, hunting pressure would be slightly lower than it is currently, though if you just mowed down a bunch of animals with overkill ammo and head/spine shots, hunting pressure will be higher after the animals have died.

This would encourage actually hunting in the game, and grinding great ones wouldn’t just be whipping out whatever big game gun you have and mowing down whitetail in a matter of seconds.

two problems with this suggestion. first grinders aren't just mowing animals down indiscriminately most want to kill and harvest ethically because they want the money and they don't want to have to track the animal as far.

The 2nd problem I have with this is that IRL hunting pressure is caused by killing and shooting in an area . How the animal is killed makes no difference .... Now they could say that the larger the caliber used to kill the more pressure it will create. I can certainly get behind that

I would also like to see hunting pressure decrease slightly over time or when hunting on a different reserve. So If I choose to travel to another reserve to hunt then hunting pressure on vacant reserves will decrease .... This will of course not apply to MP as MP already has a better chance of decreasing hunting pressure ....

grinders are killing this game. We cant ever get the cool stuff cause it'll make HM too easy or bother it in some way. It's gonna be why this game dies

Get this thread back on track .... In addition tho other suggestions mentioned here .... make animals avoid or delay arrival at zones with active pressure over a certain amount.

This applies not just to existing pressure at their destination zone but also any pressure located along their path of travel....

So for example even animals that are traveling from zone to zone will route around areas that have increased hunting pressure this will make them take longer to arrive at their destination zone ....
