I would like to suggest a change to the black bear drink times. Most people grind for great ones during drink times and I feel like hunting bears at night really takes away from the great one excitement when you first spot the bear. You can't see the rare fur type very well at night which takes away from the great one experience. Please switch their drink times to day.

Hunting at night sucks. The game's core mechanic is "shoot drink zones". So if animals only drink at night, they suck. It's pretty easy.

@rotund wigeon I'm not talking about making it easy. The main reason for hunting a black bear great one is to see the rare fur type. I believe that hunting them at night takes away from the excitement you get when you first see a rare fur since you can't see the color.

But the real issues is you just dont like to hunt at night. One of the games core mechanics is hunting at night as well. You dont have to hunt them at night. You can hunt them in feed zones and rest zones. My view of the black bear grind is that it is the most sought after great one because it is more difficult to get one. Embrace that and realize when you finally do get one you will have a trophy well earned and something to truly be proud of. Not just another GO like all the others ....

If you want the excitement of seeing the rare fur type before you kill it just extend your hunt. Don't shoot it in the dark the minute you see it. When you see that lvl 10 just let that excitement build knowing that he is there and he's not going away. Then try to get as close as possible without shooting him so that you can take pictures. If necessary just get close enough so that you can track him to a feed or rest zone . Then get some daylight pictures before you actually make the kill .... My point is don't look at as losing the excitement in the dark but letting the excitement build and prolong it ...

@rotund wigeon hmmmm. I think I actually agree with you. I've only grinded one whitetail G1 and currently working on a moose. Although I think the G1s are amazing looking they have kinda changed the way people play the game and its not for the better IMO. I agree the fact that u need to hunt the bears at night makes them an exceptional trophy. It didn't even cross my mind that u could just wait and get a better view of them because I'm just so use to just plugging away as soon as I see an animal
