It seems my hunter has decided not to use more than one arrow.
I have plenty of available arrows in the inventory but the hunter does not nock it (prepare it / rechamber it) onto the bow.

I've also experienced on the Revolver that it does not rechamber a round, as seen in this video. This is after confirming that manual rechambering is disabled.
Put the sound on and listen for the clicks.
Putting this here in case rechambering is the culprit of the issue for both weapons.

I have never experienced this issue after shooting, but occasionally after switching ammo from the weapon wheel instead of the inventory (to go from 600 Grain to 420 Grain, for example) it shows the reload animation but then there's nothing on the bow and says I have 0. But pressing the Reload button usually fixes it. I play on PlayStation mostly with occasional play on PC, so is this bug exclusive to Xbox?

It happens 99% of the time for me with bows, pistols and rifles in close quarter scenarios like when you're being attacked by cape buff, wolves, etc.

I have hard rebooted my console and updated to the latest version of the game (Showcase update), and this thing is still happening regularly.

I had a ticket open via #📜︴support and they asked me to jump through all the hoops and I sent several emails with the information they asked for, reproduced the bug multiple times and uploaded video of it, and then they marked the issue as solved.
