Invisible Red Foxes

I thought I was crazy, but just for my own sanity, can anyone confirm? This has happened to me multiple times. I arrive at a sleep zone an hour before and wait. Set up multiple stands, reset multiple times but the tracks would always appear without the animal present. No sounds. No calls. I have even chased down fresh tracks on my ATV in other locations on the map to attempt to just SEE one, but was never successful.

I could never complete the quest "Mr Sommers Bow" because I have never even seen a red fox. Now I know why! Days of hunting chasing ghosts!

if you fast-travel to a point within 200m of the animal (which your tent probably is), it will not be rendered in, and you need to go at least 200m away from the animal for it to render in

@fresh epoch I loaded in from the menu multiple times and moved locations from one corner of spreeburg to the other, after it happened over there, which is what prompted me to take this video and submit a report. All of the tents and stands are set up like that because I thought I was just missing the animals walking under me over and over again, but I never had the chance to actually use them, they were very recently set up prior to the shown clip. I submitted an official report and had to load back in once more after getting the game version. 2 deer were laying down within 50 yards and I killed both, grabbed a tent and left the reserve.

I received an email back from support and they had me clear my cache, power reset my console and reinstall the game. This issue is persisting through all of it.

Here is my reply to the email, and below this I will post the clips I was able to capture.

"I have completed the steps above. After clearing my cache and unplugging/restarting my xbox, I uninstalled and reinstalled the game and all addons. I then loaded in, switched back to this hunting reserve and tent ported approximately 220 yards away, as shown in a clip I created. I then sat in the area for approximately 20 minutes irl time, spotted some bison in the distance, then more tracks appeared in front of me without there being any red foxes to make them. I also captured a clip of this.

The active mission is Mr Sommers Bow. I will upload the clips to the discord support forum, unless you have a link so that I can add them."

I hate to necro a post but.. this issue is still an issue. I took a few months break, completed Medved Taiga and Revontuli Coast. Worked on the new reserve (Australia, can't remember the name off the top of my head) and decided to try my luck again to see if this was fixed.

It is unfortunately not fixed. Tracks and beds show up right in front of me, but there are never any foxes. This is hugely disappointing as it is a story mission and I cannot progress. If there is any extra information I can give to the dev team to try and help resolve this, please let me know.
