The Greater Sage Grouse also known as Sage Grouse is the largest species of grouse in North America, males weigh up to 4-7 pounds, females up to 2-4 pounds,lives in Sage brush habitats, deserts,and Grasslands of the western United States. It happens to be my favorite species of Upland games bird would make an excellent addition to Silver Ridge Peaks as a upland Game Bird that isn’t a turkey or pheasant, the males make a unique mating call by popping their air sacs inside the white pouch of feathers on their breast that can be heard up to three Kilometers away, they would be found in the eastern most spot of the map where the Plains Bison and Pronghorns are found and like the rest of grouse species in the game it can be shot both on the ground and the air without affecting its score and get the grounded score.
