In the stream on 3/7/23 Jaxy announced the new lodge. To the audiences disappointment, we are limited as to what animals we can put in each spot. This completely kills the creativity with the lodges, and so I recommend this be changed before the update is released.

I don’t think it’s a really great idea to have this much limitations for this free lodge: trophy lodges are one of the few things where we can be creative, but with this restrictions this trophy lodge would be a little bit boring. Also it would be cool that we can put the animals of all reserves, cuz people without DLCs can play also other maps in multy, and if they find some good trophy in a non-base map they can’t put in their only trophy lodge except if the animal is present also in the base maps

I'm on both sides.. That's why I think there should be a paid version of this lodge made that's bigger & customizable. It's understandable why they put limitations on a base game free Lodge, it's to encourage you to buy the dlc lodges. And if you can afford to buy dlcs maps, you can afford to buy a dlc lodge (which is way cheaper than a map).
I understand why some people are disappointed, seeing the entrance to that lodge & then coming to find out it's so small with limitations was quite disappointing especially if you've played this game for awhile & want something new.

I think the best course of action for those players who don't like the Layton lodge is to just not use it. You didn't pay for it, so you're not losing anything, and if you ever change your mind, it will be there, waiting for you. (It's like if someone offers you free movie tickets to a movie you don't like; just say "no, but thanks anyway" and move on without complaining that they didn't offer you tickets to the one you ***did ***want to see.)

Yes we all want that but expansive world remains a company so it have to do profit, it is already very nice of them to give a free lodge and it is normal that it remains limited compared to the paid lodge, that paid one must STAY superior to the free so players who pay have a more complete game and so the paid lodge are a more interesting offer. The must they could do is ad a paid dlc of 3,00$ (for me) and then you can put what you want but i think they want to ad more lodge of that kind so that may be why you can't put what you want and if that what they go for doing the lodge like that is the best way.
