Ornate Skins for Firearms

I think adding a few ornate skins to weapons like the Musket, the .303 British, etc would be a really nice touch. To me personally it takes me back to a time when hunting wasn't all camo and grease paint. If you had a firearm that was engraved or inlaid it probably ment that hunting meant alot to you and you excelled at it. They have at least one skin in the game (I cannot for the life of me remember which firearm it's for) that shows this type of craftsmanship and passion for hunting. But I would love to know what you all think.

Just for clarification I do not mean some Call of Duty type skin. I think looking at historical examples of hunting firearms from the 18th century to the early 20th century would be the perfect kind of craftsmanship without being overly gody.

Please let me know what you think down below, and please keep things respectful as it is only a suggestion.

The .22LR from weapon pack 1 has an engraved skin. The break barrel 7mm has it, the .270 has one, and there are several pistols with major engravings. Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my mind.

It may be possible to apply a gold paint with some design pattern, but it will not look remotely like the engravings, In any case, it would look good as long as they had a metallic shine, let's hope that in this act they apply those textures..
Skins should be designed for them to look like this, another version of each weapon, but I don't think the community accepts paying for them.

I would love this. There are some gorgeous engraved weapons in Classic. My favorite 2 weapons in COTW are the 7mm Empress and the 6.5mm Rayo, both of which are beautiful. (Unfortunately the 6.5mm is terrible as a weapon.) The problem with the customization system is that it actually covers up engravings (when present), and it looks like EW is moving away from releasing several variations with new weapons. (Only 1 each for the current weapon pack, and only 1 with the NEM map.) I hope they bring back the engravings

The new BAR Anniversary model will feature a steel receiver with polished blued finish and special engravings — military scenes on the right side and hunting scenes on the left side — all highlighted in gold. The polished blued barrel is 22” long. The stock is Grade V Turkish walnut with an oil finish.
