#Base DLCs on the terrain and theme of new map releases

In the news of a map release I think they could make the DLCs reflect the theme of the map. Like if they make a African map have a big game weapon pack. Then have a clothes DLC and make the clothe's camo reflect the land scap. Then have a equipment or vehicle DLC. For the next African map have a scope or equipment dlc. Then have the map itself. Yes this make the map release to just once a year but this would allow the devs to make more and newer animal models. This making new animals for newer maps.

This would allow them to spend time making new animal models for sure, like the Hippos for Africa 2.0 or walrus for the Arctic, this needs more upvotes

I’m just figuring out the guns first, the weapon pack includes the Cable-backed Bow that also appears in Classic

If a map was made only once a year and 3 DLCs that accompany it, the price of each one would be double, added to the fact that the totality of changes necessary to implement all the content in one go would be monumental, if something fails after the update won't just fail one or two things, it will fail triple or quadruple, then the hotfix job would be almost impossible, it would take the studio 6 months to fix everything and they won't be able to produce another content while they do it, imagine the bugs there are now they are a single act...
Another addition is that there are many people who only play when new updates come out, if there were only one a year we would have an empty game for many months until the update happens..
The study in charge of theHunter is a subsidiary, it must report progress, continuity and profitability to the main studio, I don't think that with the modality you mention they can comply with all this...

That is very true. However, I believe with the hundreds of thousands of people that would play this game many would still play with out the double map updates every year. Also the only two ways they make money is the game and DLCs. They have no premium time or currency. So how would it matter money wise if people bought the game and DLCs if those are the only two ways this game makes money. With the time between maps they would be able to iron out all the problems. What would also help with that is have alpha servers for player so they can report bugs and other issues beforehand.

the game does not have as many players as you think, the average number of players on steam does not exceed 3000 simultaneous daily, and it is below the top 150 best sellers, I do not think it is in a position to apply increases, they even rejected the option to update regional prices on steam and continue to maintain the old prices.
Also remember that the consoles do not have regional prices and must be paid in dollars, for some countries with another currency it is expensive

I’ve always figured that if they did do one reserve per year instead of 2 I wouldn’t mind paying a bit extra as long as the resulting reserve turned out good, but that is me, I cannot speak for everyone
