This Lack of a New Lodge is getting annoying.

I'm sure this has been asked for a million times. The majority of the most popular animals in the game and real life are in North America. We still can not get a North America style hunting lodge. The mounting of animals is a huge part of the game. European and African based lodges are fine but I don't understand why we can't get something more suited for Whitetail, Elk, Moose ect. I love new maps and new species. But to me the next new thing I would like to see is a new lodge.

Hello, I only downvoted because I’d rather see resources put towards new species/ reserves. That being said your suggestion is by no means a bad one. But I while obviously I have no source for this, but I would image there would be a fairly niche amount of people who would really want this over other in demand content.

I think that the lodges are for a smaller part community. I think that people would appreciate seeing more animals and other pieces of equipment rather than a new trophy lodge. Although I do think that @remote nimbus has a good point. In that your suggestion is not bad and that it is good. I just think compared to new weapons or reserves not as many people would be excited for the lodges.

On the contrary, I think we have a lot of different weapons and only two different lodges. With the new weapon pack having bigger calibers, the only weapon pack I'd be excited for is a smaller caliber pack. Our current lodges feel a little small and a new bigger one would be amazing imo

That is very true. The only gun pack I want now is a small game one. Personally I don't use the lodges so I am not wanting them as much as a new map or weapon pack.

I think the lodge is a huge benefit for player retention. If I couldn't mount my GO or diamonds, rares, ect I probably wouldn't keep playing much if at all. I hunt in real life and my mounts are some of my most prized possessions. I'm not much of a gamer but I am absolutely addicted to this game.

I have 20 hours in The angler to 1900 in cotw I can almost guarantee you that's mostly because of lodges

Idk if they had a large, really nice North American style lodge with maybe a rock sculpture that multiple mounts could be placed on I don't see any reason that wouldn't be worth a $10 dlc and I would think they would sell the crap out of it.

The watch towers would be a good place for spawning. If we could spawn at the lodges and towers I think that would help not having enough lodges. There could be cache box there too.

I would pay more money for a customizable or a lodge that has the right lighting and trophy mounts. I think the game under sells there DLC'S if more money would help fix the bugs and refresh the lodges I'm ok with that

The reason I haven't bought that game is because there's isn't a form of 'lodge' or way to tax./view the fish you catch.
I wouldn't put nearly as much time into cotw if it wasn't for the Lodge, I would definitely buy a new Lodge DLC. I enjoy watching people's lodge walkthroughs on YouTube as well.

Lodges are kinda essential to hunting games. Why on Earth would anyone keep playing a game like this if there wasn’t a way to display the animals you’ve hunted. What fun is there otherwise. I really do wish our next minor DLC (the September one) is a new lodge

I think a new trophy lodge would be great as long as it comes with a rework of the system, allowing us to search in the trophy manager, customize our trophy plaque sizes, and maybe adding European mounts for some smaller trophies. ( so we could place a deer skull on a table for example. ) as for location, North America would be great, maybe in Yukon or silver ridge. Then to make it worth it for the people who don’t want the paid dlc, backfill some animals on other maps. Thar on te awarowa, dall sheep on Yukon and musk ox on medved.

Also maybe some scenery around our mounts. Like fences for deer to jump over, or a small tree with the animal.

I reacted 🤷‍♂️ because it's weird that you're 'annoyed' just because your ideal content hasn't been added to the game.
The way you phrased that, it made it seem like they promised you there would be a new lodge in 2022.
I assume that's not what you meant though.

The free content is always oriented to players who have the base game, if you don't like the free you buy the paid version, that's how the world works, why would it be different here?

I didn't see many full size mounts in the lodge. It's free and that's fine but I would have been really happy with a paid DLC for a larger lodge. I do like the flag though!
