I think we’ve all been getting a little tired of mountain lions and lynx spooking off animals that are like 3-5x larger than themselves.
My proposal is predators no longer spook off other animals that are a larger class than themselves. For example, lynx are a class 3. With this system in place they’d still spook class 1s and 2s, but wouldn’t spook any animal that is class 4 and above.

I have personally seen deer flee from feral cats and jaguarundis, even horses and cows.
This will completely screw up the mechanics of Cougars chasing Rocky Mountain Elks in SPR and Wolves chasing Red Deer in Cuatro, or Wolves chasing Plain Bisons in Yukon..

I don't think the problem is the scare mechanic itself, what should be changed is the distance only, that animals only flee when the predator is very close..

Anything to alleviate the problem imo. I hate the chasing mechanic personally but I know some people find it immersive

I think the cats have way too much control over the zones. The deer will not come back if there scared off by a cat. They all look the same on every map you can't even tell the piebald from the reg gray color. I hope they make it where we can spawn a rare. I used to like this game but after losing my lodge and the ability to put my trophies on any mount Im starting to seek out other games. Please stop taking everything fun away and give us more rares and customizable trophy lodges.

We need to bring more attention to the devs regarding trophy lodge customizability. Maybe if enough people demand it we’ll finally get a trophy lodge rework

@empty depot were you able to find the post on the rework trophy mounts? If you can't find it would you please make another forum so I can upvote and give opinions? I found another area not exactly where but it was talking about lodges I liked and commented.
