#New maps that aren’t in North America and don’t repeat the same old animals!

Give us new maps with new animals! Africa 2.0 or India. I feel like all we have are North American maps with moose and whitetail! I love getting new maps but honestly there’s so many animals in this world why are do we keep repeating them!

African Map: Spotted hyenas, crocodiles, waterbuck, giraffes, zebras, greater Kudu, Hippos, leopards

India Map: Tiger, Indian elephant, Indian rhino, sloth bear, Gaur, Nilgai, gharial,

What about Canada

India was pretty much confirmed "never happening" as hunting is VERY illegal there

I have suggested a Japanese map.

#

I made a post close to this one. Except my two countries were turkey and Japan.

A video game that's aiming to be respectful to other cultures.

#

I'm also fairly certain the only "hunting" of tigers that's done is actually called "poaching" so they're unlikely to be added to the game.

As far as hunting in Southern and Southeast Asia there is Pakistan (markhor, wild boar, gazelle and various other animals), Nepal (bharal, tahr, muntjac) and possibly Malaysia (Saltwater Crocodile, water buffalo, lots of small game)

Pakistan?

The link is the one I made. If you want you can look at it.

Markhor hunting is almost synonymous with Pakistan and it’s also where one can hunt animals like Punjab Urial, Chinkara Gazelle and Sindh Ibex to name a few species

Mongolia is the best option in Asia, there are national hunting regulations as well as specialized reserves and promotion of hunting tourism

In real life it can cost around 120 to 160k to hunt in Pakistan and I do recall only 12 permits are issued each year with 80% of the revenue going to local communities

I think they're called blue goats or something they look like a mouflon or dall sheep they look awesome

The problem with Pakistan is obtaining relevant information on flora, fauna, audiovisual data of the environment, there are no specialized places or reserves for hunting, almost all hunting permits and incursions are carried out in private areas where the government does not encourage them or properly regulated by a wildlife department as in the other countries where we already have reserves in the game

You also have Asian elk there as well.

As a type of hunting. Become a falconer. Very popular in Mongolia.

I want Africa 2.0 and a whiterime remake as the next 2 maps

I would like an Australian map. One of the most popular in the hunter classic.

if we take the poll done on youtube a while ago as a roadmap, then the next 3 reserves could be Africa 2.0, Australia and UK
the most likely thing is that the next to leave is Africa, but the surprise will be in which region of Africa it is centered

# snow lion Really the UK?

It is a great region with a lot of history for the sport and a large population of hunters as well as hunting regulations and laws that support and recommend it as a means of population control, it also has amazing landscapes

It is that the game is based on recreating real hunting areas, you have to look for an ecoregion that is different from the maps that we already have in the game, beyond the species that are in each one, the forests and ecosystems are different from each other.
By having all the reserves sooner or later we will have repeated animals, the list of legal hunting species is not infinite

Off the top of my head: Cameroon has both Jungle and Savannah, Ethiopia has it’s famous highlands along with savannah and desert, Namibia, Tanzania, Zambia, and somewhere in West Africa

# limber lake Im new to this app and the game I actually didn’t know so much went into each re...

the developers try to create different scenarios each time, however depending on the latitude in which the countries are located the ecoregions are similar and therefore the trees and plants too, for example Hirschfelden and New England Mountain, the trees are similar but They are different species that evolved to adapt to the environment and fulfill the same functions since they are in a similar latitude, both have "Deciduous temperate forests"..
or also Yukon and Revontuli whit similar latitude and both with similar "Boreal Forests"..

Have a steppe map from Mongolia or Russia.

#

I think Africa and Russia have the most diversity in terms of biomes.

# snow lion Make a Sahara map for Africa.

The Sahara wouldn't really work. However, the Kalahari and Namib deserts in Namibia would be a great alternative, since those regions have a pretty wide variety of species available to hunt.

You know cotw is still missing one good North American map based in the Appalachian mountains. There’s plenty of game that hasn’t been included and needs to be. Initially I was excited for Mississippi but honestly it was a huge flop. But I have to agree on africa 2.0 with dangerous game mainly and larger plains game, I don’t think of wing shooting and rabbit hunting when I think of africa.

Agree with the sentiment of this, but the exception should defiantly be a Canadian arctic map, like #1070045518002147458

Polar bears and wolverines would be fantastic additions to the game.

In terms of US maps though, the majority of suggestions now feature very much lots of the same species that we find in us maps. The exceptions being lots of waterfowl and squirrels. All of which I’m sure could be added to the game without needing to create a new map. Similar to how lions were added to Vurhonga post dlc launch

#

@fresh plaza summed this up well here.

Adding waterfowl to Missipi would be a rekindling of a map that was a little lacklustre.

There are quite a few places in Canada that would be great. The Artic while its great would not bring all the remodels or new species that are missing. At minimum we need 2 maps in Canada or some more U.S. maps to add the missing species and remodels.

Also for some people who get it confused. North America has more than just the U.S. We had 2 straight non North America maps so I say bring on Canada. Also Canada has zero maps in the game currently and could add a ton of new species and remodels.

I hunt a hell of a lot out here, and there’s defiantly a few species that I think y’all want to see.

But I do agree that we have a lot of maps here already, I’m keen for Another Asia or African map (sundarpartan is the best!)
