NO, geese are not like that. My home town has probably has more Canada Geese than people, and they fly over constantly. I get stopped regularly by flocks crossing the street. They are never as noisy as the ones in Hirschfelden, unless you scare a flock off from feeding, then they only make a racket until they're all in the air. Same with the ducks. The Magpie geese are far closer to real geese as far as overhead noise. The noise from the waterfowl gets deafening on most of the maps.
On Revontuli, all the quacks and honks often make it hard to hear other animals, especially game birds. I wouldn't be so bad if they didn't come back every fifteen - 30 seconds. I was trying to hunt boar in Hirschfelden and couldn't hear a boar 50 meters across the field. To use a word I usually dislike, it's utterly UNREALISTIC. They need to tone them all down to Magpie Geese levels ... or let us mute them.

Hunting Puma in Parque Fernando. The ducks are out in force, drowning out all other sounds all over the map. Could the Devs PLEASE quiet these blasted birds down so we can hear ourselves hunt? 🙉

That’s because they honk like that only a certain time of year, and probably the time they migrate out. We have tons of Canadian geese, and during hunting season… you can hear them coming miles away

Not constantly. And they don't migrate out. They stay all the time.

As I've said before, when the sound of the birds overhead make it impossible to hear the animals walking through the forest, it's too much. And it's NOT realistic in any sense. With all that racket, I would be able to walk up to a deer and pat it on the rump. Further, it's totally unnecessary. The geese in Emerald coast don't do that, and it isn't needed in order to call / hunt them at all. It's just window dressing, it serves no purpose but it is annoying in extreme. I've scared flocks of over 100 geese into flight, and they weren't that noisy.

IRL certain times in the morning when hunting elk or deer, if we’re by a lake there pretty loud, but i get what your saying I think, like everywhere on the map is constant goose calling. I like that you can hear it sometimes, so maybe they just need to turn down the rate that they honk and also the places that they do
