#Add Capercaillie to Hirschfelden

Hirschfelden got a major upgrade when Pheasants were added to it. Pheasants were a great addition to this map, and hunting them in the open fields is quite fun in my opinion. However, I also think that Capercaillie on Hirschfelden would be a great option for more backfilling. They were added to Classic recently and now inhabit Classic's rendition of Hirschfelden (although they are referred to in Classic as the Wood Grouse).

I really think that Call of The Wild's version of Hirschfelden would benefit from the addition of the Capercaillie, since the Pheasants that now occupy this map are really only found in the open fields. Capercaillies could easily be added to the more forested areas of Hirschfelden, giving those areas an upland game bird for players to hunt. Since Layton has turkeys now, why can't Hirschfelden have Capercaillies?

Capercaillie decoys would be interesting. I don't know how many people would actually use them, but it would be nice to have them as an option.

Hunting capercaillies is not allowed in Germany. IRL I have never seen capercaillie decoys for sale. I don’t play classic but by watching some videos it seems that capercaillies in classic are just turkeys with different looks and sound and not like their IRL counterparts at all.

You also can't hunt Black Bears in Mississippi, yet Mississippi Acres has Black Bears on it, so it would be logically inconsistent to not include Capercaillie on Hirschfelden just because "they can't be hunted in Germany irl".

In my opinion, "x animal can't be added to x map because that place doesn't allow hunting them" is a very weak argument. It's a game. If a species is already in the game, and the map is already in the game, and that species can be found in that area in real life, does it really matter if they aren't allowed to be hunted there irl? Do you think there's going to be emotional outcry from a significant portion of the community because they put capercaillies on Hirschfelden?

Adding Capercaillie to Hirschfelden is literally something Classic already did and nobody seems to be complaining about it. Do you know why? It's because people like the Capercaillie, and they are able to suspend their disbelief because they know that it's just a game. Most COTW and Classic players probably don't even know that capercaillies can't be hunted in Germany, so I doubt that it would really bother many people anyway.

As for Capercaillie decoys, all I really know is that Classic has them and I think they'd be an interesting addition to COTW. That's it. Classic is generally more realistic than COTW when it comes to a lot of things, so I wouldn't be surprised if they're a real thing. Even if hunting them with decoys is unrealistic or uncommon in real life, nobody would be forcing you to use decoys for them if that feature was added.
