Not much else to say here except to say that birdshot needs a hefty buff to actually bring down birds and hit registration with birdshot is all over the place. Like taking a shot at 25 yds, i managed to down a greylag goose with three (3) pellets out of a 16 ga.
Other issue is that geese regularly land fifty yards or more away from the decoys, which often puts them in thick brush and well out of reach of the pitiful birdshot we're supposed to hunt them with.
