Scopes, sights, and reticles DLC pack

We could use some additional choices to the existing selection of rifle-scopes in the game. If you search the old feedback channel you will find several people asking for this in one form or another.

Here are some examples of new scopes that have could have unique traits:

[A] Twilight 3-6x52 Scope
Unique trait: Large objective lens
Description: Owing to the 52mm Objective lens, the DawnStalker ™️ Scope provides increased light collection at lower magnification and can be used in low-light scenarios without the need for full night-vision. The perfect scope for hunting at dawn and dusk, even at night, up to medium range.

[B] Ranger Ultra 5-10x42 Scope
Unique trait: First Focal Plane reticle
Description: The Ranger Ultra ™️ scope features a crisp reticle with plenty of holdover marks for both windage and elevation. The marks are aligned with exact MRAD-scale spacing to allow for easier bullet drop calculation, (and even range estimation if need be). Due to the FFP design, the reticle scales with magnification, allowing the same holdover marks to be used at any zoom level!

[C] Gunslinger 6-8x42 Scope
Unique trait: Etched and illuminated center reticle. Hashmarks in MOA.
Description: The Gunslinger ™️ Scope comes in at roughly 75% the weight of its most popular competitor, the Hyperion. In return, it gets a couple fewer zoom levels. In addition, this scope comes with an adjustable illuminated center reticle. (off - 1 - 2).
The Gunslinger is also a popular scope for American hunters, and other users who prefer markings in MOA rather than MRAD.

[D] Longsword 7x42 NV Scope (?)
Unique trait: Black&White Night vision (not thermal).
Description: This fixed magnification NV scope features a modest night vision for further ranges. The sight picture is somewhat darker and in black and white, so it's easier on the eyes than the green lit little brother.

Ya that would be nice. I just imagined if they would to implement different reticles, they would be how the Camos are and we would just choose to put them on a scope. Would be a awesome edition to the game.

Can't tell you how much I'd appreciate being able to use a regular duplex reticle in the hyperion scope, an option to swap between two or three reticles in the scope storage menu would be so nice

The scope for the drilling is my favorite in the game, simple and useable. just like the ones most of us use IRL. I'd be fine if you could just change between the duplex reticle and the MOA retical. I really don't mind the MOA with the 8-16 scope, but the 4-8 should have been a plain duplex

Also, here is a MOA reticle example I made for 12x a while ago. Please disregard the fact that the rifle is pointed at a wall. Someone pointed out to me that this is politically incorrect. That was not intentional, sorry.

I like the reticle better than the current one in the 8-16, It would be easier to use at distance too. Btw, it's a wall in a video game, grow up people

I like the first on there, but my favorite reticle is the simplest one, a German #4. the bottom reticle would be really good for a 1-6x24 tactical scope

I like the top one too. Lots of fine crosshair marks to use for deep trajectory weapons like the .22LR or Air Rifle.

You can actually do that with the Hyperion but you'll notice it could need more hashmarks to make it more precise. Assuming you mean .22LR

This doesn't need to be included in the pack actually being discussed here, but a fixed 6 power scope for the shotgun would be nice. Considering the over/under 12ga in the base game has a permanently attached mount that seriously gets in the way of bird hunting. A scope would make it at least have a purpose

If EW wishes to add more NV scopes, I hope they'll be in Black & White. Easier on the eyes.

All these sound great. I would add a historically accurate PU 3.5×22 scope for the Mosin Nagant and remove the ability to use the modern ones on it.

if they were accurate to reality, you could mount the scopes on the .30-30 the same way they are mounted on the M1 and Mosin. and the .45-70 that has an actual freaking rail that would accept any scope.

Hey guys, this is a Trijicon scope built for high recoil rifles. I mean .375 and up, its a 1-6x24, really designed for short range precision. I would use it for the heavily wooded ares on Emerald Coast and a few other places

That is very similar to the 1-4x but I like it. If they make some trijicons then one with an illuminated chevron reticle is obligatory too 😅

haha ok that makes sense. someone else suggested weapon modifications, including picatinny rails for lever actions to allow regular scopes.
idk if E.W. is equipped for that tho. They ever fix your shotgun sight?

Nope, same as ever. got more suggestions for it too. they do have forward scope mounts on the Mosin and M1 garand too

This is my hunting rifle right now (12 years now actually) 6 black bears, 14 white tailed deer, 21 feral pigs, and one donkey that tried his best to stomp on my gf
Point of Order: it is a .30-30 Winchester, and I use 170 round nose cast bullets, never had to shoot more than once to bring down an animal, my closest shot (bear) was 13 yards and two feet, my longest (Deer) was 261 yards, both were double lung hits

I got a loop lever in the mail and as soon as i get the new barrel I'm adding a forward rail and ghost ring sights (auto-correct is almost never correct)

Also, if that sight was actually on the rail it would be positioned correctly and have the eye relief it should actually have

Instead of this. the instant you fire with a red dot this close to your face you'd have a black eye and perfectly circular cut around your eye

Long story made short, got permission to go berry picking on a farm close by, took the rifle on the off chance I might bring home a pig or two. Donkey took much offense at my gf pickin blackberries and tried to run her down, one shot went into the base of his neck and took the spine and right shoulder out when it exited. cost me 800 for a donkey hide rug. . .
