The only diamond i have is a roe deer and it has atypical antlers but that's about it. I wish i had something better besides a mf ROE DEER for my first diamond. Got it at level 13 anx im at 48 now, still no diamonds other than an ibex that i screwed the shot and got intestines

Both gsmes have their pros and cons. Classic is by far a more streamlined, stable game with better trophy pics, character customization, dogs and more in-depth small game and bird hunting. Cotw on the other hand is gorgeous with more varied maps, better trophy lodges, and more polished animal scoring system (by that, I mean it's easier to tell how large your trophy is compared to other specimens)

Idk what the problem is. Meaning the GO is so rare that less than 1% of players will actually find ONE. I mean the odds are the same as winning the lottery. At least we know what’s “theoretically” in the game. This will “maybe” keep players interested in chasing the GO. If it’s so rare people give up chasing it,what’s the point??? Also I myself only play because of the GO but am burnt out on Layton. I think EW should make the next GO as pieces that’s on multiple maps. So when you get burnt out on one map you can change the scenery and continue the chase on a different map??? Just an idea.

If it wasn’t for these images I would’ve said screw the GO because they’re all the same with maybe a .00001 percent chance of finding one. But after I wait another 5-6 weeks (if the update gets released then) I’ll start playing again for at least a little bit till I can’t stand Layton anymore

Outside of that I’m ok with knowing what 99% of us will never get to harvest ourselves and get to see what’s actually possible in the game. Nobody stops to think about SRP. Meaning is console players have had SRP “spoiled” by EW. I mean in order to not see anything about SRP we would have to leave every discord and any social media tied to COTW and that’s not realistic. I think the biggest issue really is that GOs are meant to be a surprise, a shocker to those who manage to get one. So someone hacking the unseen racks or whatever and then posting willy nilly seems iffy and unjust to those wanting shock value. The least those folks should've done was spoiler tag those screenshots and made it clear what those spoilers were containing. This is a mostly singleplayer game so people really shouldn't care what other people want to do in their own maps/free time, imo.

I totally agree @restive briar. But then same applies for SRp. Literally impossible for that. If EW realized there was going to be such a delay,they shouldn’t have released SRP to pc players. There’s no excitement,wonderments,mystery anymore to SRP. The one and only thing is Trurack mulies which nobody’s seen yet. So at least there’s a tiny bit of suprise to all of us on the 11th.

That's fair but there's def a silver lining o allow PC players to get content first. It's easier to hotfix and patch issues on PC versus consoles. Consoles there's a lengthy process to get things fixed up due working with Sony and Microsoft. I reckon most of the playerbase actually plays on console so I could only image the number of complaints EW would've had if they realized SRPs the same date for PC players, lol. SRPs had a ton of annoying bugs.

That’s very true. But we’ve both played a long time and know of issues that have been existing games issues for years or more that still haven’t been fixed for pc an console players.

At the very least they should’ve released the existing game patch/fixes to everybody. If console players get the new dlc later,then so be it. TK on stream mentioned that GOs would be for all game species (I believe). Also talked about how he wanted I think either a GO grizzly bear or grey wolf (not 100% sure at this very moment what it was exactly) to be all burnt up looking to match the Teekon Forest fire look.

A giant boar was also mentioned too as an idea for a GO. Think Hogzilla as an example.
