I heard if your game crashed while trying to get into a lodge, there's a 50/50 chance that your trophies in that lodge are deleted.
That's why a lot of people are upset, leaving the game and uninstalling it. As sad as it is. Hopefully a patch can come out quickly.

While waiting may seem like a good thing to do. You have no idea if the hotfix won't actually remove it from the map by accident. Considering with all the Fabled caribou and reindeer being found. I think the current issue is that taxidermized Great Ones will end being gold in the lodge. I would rather have a gold Fabled verus no Fable at all.

So it's a toss up if said hotfix would actually fix the issue or make it worse, lol.

All my whitetails on my map have changed. Idk if they changed anything with the recent update but all the big males I've been killing turned into Level 1s, rip. So it's another grind to get 'em all back up to weight. Jaxy's vid though basically confirmed that my technique I've been telling folks during the Beta was true so that's cool to know.

I noticed the same thing on my map. I began to see the changes in my herds during their respawns (aka shitty males were spawning in) so I went to every single water spot as a hunch and noticed whitetails I've never seen before. I've never had need zones before at these areas either. So something surely happened that we weren't told.
TK said there wasn't a pop. reset so no idea what happened. Maybe a change up in need zones. I was pretty upset though lol. Going back to a previous save didn't help either.

No they feed drink and sleep with the other whitetail and yes just go shoot all your males (try not to delete zones) and then fast forward 4 in game days. Then do it over again

the lower the average the bigger the chance of getting a lvl 3 or a lvl 10

They're in some pretty thick bush though. Sometimes if they're a bit south they are super hard to spot. If they're directly due East of the tent they're in pretty decent bush but you can see them easier as it's lighter shrubbery.

Dude I'm totally down for a Rocky Mountain map. If the last few maps are anything to go by, it'd be absolutely beautiful. Barring the issues that have been plaguing the game lately, you gotta admit the maps are still gorgeous. A map set in the different areas in the rocky mountains would be so amazing.

@zenith quartz I know what youāre talking about, but here in north Idaho you can find turkeys even in the highest mountains in the Coeur dāAlene national forest, I think turkeys would fit a Rocky map great, plus if they wanted they could have valleys and things that might be good for turkey on the map.

rares work on a chance, not a total. you can have unlimited rares on your map but chances are it wont happen.
Piebalds have a around a 16/5000 chance to spawn, while Albino has 8/5000 and Melanistic is 4/5000
5000 is an average number with what the common value is for the fur variations as it can range from 3990 to 10000
the only rare that has a limiter is the fabled piebald since from what I know that can only spawn on the fabled WT

@violet schooner TK already said on the last EW stream that the animals found (besides turkey) in the code were code names for animals already in game. Mountain lion was the old name they had for puma and bighorn was for mouflon i believe

Yeah we already know that Turkeys are coming this year and Phil indicated on the last stream that he was on that is would probably be on a new map. But considering we're not half way into the year yet there's a long ass time before we may see Turkeys or a new map. The clue could be for some small DLC update coming like new weapons or tree stands, or maybe a new animal for an existing map. But it may also be a clue for a new up coming map like the painting we had for Cuatro. Based on the last couple of years of DLC released for COTW (and the giant bug fix patches that seem to be coming more and more common...) have gotten 2 maps a year, one in Summer and one in December. With all of the negative press COTW has received lately even with the new Free LCs added EW will need to land a good big update to try and draw people back in.
TL:DR I am guessing the clue will be a small hint towards the next map that will come out over Summer.

The game really needs a new map to bring in that hype back to cotw. I highly doubt we would be seeing another weapon pack considering we just had weapon pack 4 not that long ago.

We all know (and knew well before they dropped the white tail fabled) and only a few have even been seen with most of us looking for a while. Red Deer would take a spot of something that could be new added to the game
If we had another map with Red Deer we need to have another big animal to compete for attention. Otherwise it would get quite boring.

Hunting has practically been banned in India
Except for problem animals like a sloth bear that got a little too comfy, an elephant that just destroys all that it sees, and maneaters
But those are usually handled by local animal control
