Cheelah has the Mushroom Lake, right? The key to hunting there is to never go there dring drink times. If you go during need zone tomes you wont find shit, in my experience. And Hirschfelden is just straight empty for me. The only places with animals are the beginning fields and then that open clearing at the west side of the map

i hunt deer via the north route then head to mushroom lake and hunt there for rabbits, bt, and wt and then go back to the north route and that seems to do pretty good for respawns

also, clearing hunting pressure in an area helps with respawns in my experience

Decided to copy over my main game's files to the Betas, hoping for better respawns considering I've spent days of herd management on it. Hoping this change betters my odds. Already seeing a night and day difference in terms of quality whitetails.

Since there's higher/more numerous quality males in my main game, the respawns from those should quicken the potential for a trigger of the Easter Egg. In theory anyways.

I usually do my typical loop of the map (down the rivers and smaller lakes) and by the time I'm back where I started, new males are generally respawned by then.

The more whitetails you kill the quicker the respawning triggers,

I've done it with Lions a few weeks ago. That's how I got my Albino in just under 4 days.

If you are looking for diamonds the better practice is to kill the biggest ones and leave the smaller ones

The amount of proper herd management needed in the Beta is way too much given the time frame (few days/couple hours). The only way you'll get the EE to spawn that way is by simple luck. An already establish managed save game would quicken those odds for sure.

Disagree with that. The smaller males have a chance of becoming a new level/weight/score everytime they respawn. Eventually they'll reach a higher tier with proper management.

Plus its generally accepted the game tries to keep a balance of small and high animals so just killing everything can mess that balance up

I killed about 7 whitetail so far today, all level 2. I have only seen 1 level 3 whitetail from balmost to willipeg on the river at drink time
