The ice pillars enemies spawn need an indicator, a slight delay before being able to deal damage and/or less damage. In the current state, they just spawn right under you and deal instant unavoidable damage that is entirely unpredictable.
This is absurd given that they deal massively more damage than anything else.
Fire patches can be tracked by the enemy's movement path.
Fire bombs have an indication of where they will land.
Radial projectiles have a short distance around the enemy and a travel distance.
Shotgun projectiles move fast but in a tight cone.
All of them are predictable and avoidable, except ice pillars which again, deal way more damage as everything else!
What killed me? I don't know, nothing hit me? Oh wait, there's the ice pillar popping out from under me 0.5 seconds after my body already hit the floor...
