#Enemy Ice Pillars Need a Warning Zone, Lower Damage and/or a Delay

The ice pillars enemies spawn need an indicator, a slight delay before being able to deal damage and/or less damage. In the current state, they just spawn right under you and deal instant unavoidable damage that is entirely unpredictable.

This is absurd given that they deal massively more damage than anything else.

Fire patches can be tracked by the enemy's movement path.

Fire bombs have an indication of where they will land.

Radial projectiles have a short distance around the enemy and a travel distance.

Shotgun projectiles move fast but in a tight cone.

All of them are predictable and avoidable, except ice pillars which again, deal way more damage as everything else!

What killed me? I don't know, nothing hit me? Oh wait, there's the ice pillar popping out from under me 0.5 seconds after my body already hit the floor...

The only answer to the pillars is to kill the elites before they get close or stay away.

To stay away, you need movement speed, but with movement speed comes off screen enemies teleporting around you randomly. Instead of 3 elites behind you, now you have 1 above, 1 to the right and 1 to the left. Instead of everything coming in from 1 direction, now you just have it from all angles. Not a good/viable solution.

So just kill them then? Ya sure, if you only play top meta shenanigans. The answer being pick vitvap/vitsac, high focus on ringblades, or having 1000+ torment shards isn't reasonable. Build viability shouldn't be dictated by a single specific trait on elites.

yeah but when a champion golden slime appears it's a real problem
Half my screen gets covered in ice spikes and it takes forever to kill it
it acutally takes longer to kill these than the lords of the halls

even killing 3 lords with the mirror is faster than killing these little shits
