Since the release (2024-03-13) after a while the fps will drop to 1, hitting the menu button and going back make the fps come back for 1~2 seconds. I had no other choice but to quit.

I am having such issue as well I found an alternative workaround for it, basically every time when it happens open the settings and disable the full screen and then enable it again
For me it fixes the FPS drop and the game continues to run normally
