Agony items text is missing unless I mouse over the border of the item specifically

cursor is not seen on the screenshot but I need to point at the golden frame to see the text
this is happening for many versions alreadyt.

I had this issue during one of the experimental builds, but it was fixed in every subsequent version... Very weird
