With the recent update especially, it feels very difficult to see a lot of the enemy projectiles that were previously already not the best to locate visually. The little flame wave attacks in particular (such as what the worms toss out in stage 2) are not only really hard to see with their transparency, but they seem to fade out and disappear before their actual effective damage hitbox concludes leading to taking hits on flames that looked like they'd already ended.

These ones, right? I agree; they fade too quickly and could be brighter to begin with. They look like they should do less damage as they become more transparent; I don't know if this is currently the case.
Those are the ones, yeah -- especially once things get crowded I get tagged by those constantly because I can't see them even though I'm maneuvering around avoiding every other hit fairly steadily.
