I'd suggest to play more with the soundtracks and music in Backrooms: Lost Tape. Prime example being the pools area. Unusually monotonous and sounding more "glorious" the further you go in as if it submerges you or devours into itself, with the sudden cut at the end. It was, hands down, most enjoyable part of the game. It just gave so much to the sense and vibe of the atmosphere, it completely changed the mood. Downright masterful design. Of course, with Backrooms originally being a creepypasta/horror story, that obviously shouldn't apply to only beautiful/calm parts of the game, but unsettling ones as well with the appropriate soundtrack choice 😁
