Edit: It seems primary stat gives Spell Power (not specifically Strength)

This change is to solve 2 problems at once. Right now there are two stats which are not being modified by any attribute - Weapon Power and Resistance.

1) Strength currently gives Spell Power+Armor. This is a little odd in my opinion as my Warrior is walking around with a ton of Spell power and not much weapon power. Strength would make a lot more sense as Weapon Power+Armor

  1. Wisdom can give ~~Spell Power+~~Resistance. This helps make the attributes more alligned with the bonuses they give.

Primary stat gives Spell Power
for Warrior and Paladin, this is Strength
for Rogue and Ranger, this is Dexterity
for Warlock, Sorcerer and Wizard, this is Intelligence
this allows different classes to have different stats for scaling their spells (incentivising you into those stats with those classes)

Weapon Power already scales with the ilvl of weapons you choose to use (making you free to use whatever you want) as well as blacksmith upgrades
Resistance is available at the Mage Shop and Apothecary (for Poison)

Ah interesting, i mustve assumed wrong just because every attribute was giving my warrior 2 different stats.

I would still like a way to scale Weapon Power and Resistance through attributes. Weapon Power isn't modified by weapons. Higher ilvl weapons have higher Physical Damage but this is separate from weapon power. Yes all of these are available through blacksmith upgrades but most stats in the game are available through some town upgrade. Even with a high level weapon, my warrior is becoming more of a spell caster as I climb higher NG+ levels because attributes are only scaling Spell Power and not Weapon Power.
