Pretty straight-forward. Mouse can still be used to select the Switch Character interface, however, selecting the option with the controller does nothing.
Replicated multiple times on both Xbox One & PS4 controllers. Wireless and wired.
Selecting Switch Characters with controller DOES work in single player.

Yes this I thought I was going crazy thinking my game was bugged never allowed to switch when in online lobbies forced to use mouse.

I am also still having this issue as of patch nine.
My friends and I can switch characters in an online lobby I am hosting up until we return from a run, then it is bugged until the host fully quits the game and forms a new lobby after reopening the application.
If the lobby is disbanded but the application is not closed the issue persists
