It would be a nice Quality of Life feature to allow modifying the healthbar color of allied player characters. Currently, there seem to be 2 colors of healthbar: The Player & all enemies have a RED healthbar. Summoned minions & allied followers have a YELLOW healthbar.
My preference would be a selectable option in the options menu to choose between a few different colors for SELF, FRIENDLY, and ENEMY healthbar colors. However, at the very least, it would be nice if allied players healthbars would show up as yellow, to indicate they are friendly.
Why this matters to me:
- When I'm playing a paladin, I often find myself dashing to my wounded allies and laying down a quick healing circle to save them. When my allies healthbar is just a random red healthbar in a sea of red healthbars, it is difficult to see when it's your ally about to die, or a random skeleton enemy.
- More generally, when I'm playing in multiplayer, if I see my ally's healthbar more clearly, I can use this info to inform my own gameplay decisions. For example, when my ally dives into a large pack of enemies, wheather or not their life total is dropping fast will inform me of the relative danger of the pick of enemies, and if they need help or not. Should I jump in and help, or do they have it handled and I can continue to fiddle with my inventory?
