Hey everyone!. Odins Outpost is a fresh server with about 20 very active players. Were looking for another 20 players whom have building in mind to come join us here soon. You dont need to start a new character. However, we do enforce it being no further than moder character as to not have newer members feeling too behind. Lastly this is a LONG TERM server. We fully intend on having it up for a year or more so if youre interested please try to keep that in mind.
Difficulty?
This server is HARD esspecially in the lower levels when you dont have good gear. We encourage going in groups of 2-4 to do ost any exploring or mining as it gets bad at night. We've made this way to intentionally stall progress and make things a little more exciting. We wanted to force players to play, and build near one another as apposed to the solo speed running we had seen in so many other servers.
Community?
So that brings us to how our difficulty has effected the servers progression. When you spawn in you may notice a large town at spawn. Players felt they needed to protect one another and have built a raid proof starter area where most people now reside. Were currently working on a mountain town that stretches down through the medows with plenty of space for everyone to join. With the addition of new members to the server we hope that you would be interested in that.
Resources?
All POI and Resources will reset automatically everyday to accommodate our large player base. More info on that in the discord server.
Mods?
This post will have a comment under it with a list of the mods. Feel free to ask questions about the list and how its configured as we have it really dialed in for our servers needs.
