Hey everyone! Were a group of friends and fairly experienced server hosters here. We've just acquired a new VPS and are looking to host a Long term Valheim server.

Why Might you want to join our server?

  • Its a fresh lightly modded server with everyone starting on the same page
  • Were hoping to host Long term so you can feel comfortable with your progress
  • It is moderated by a very active set of admins
Were open to New and Older players
  • Resources will be refreshed every so often to fight off the grind
  • no limits on progress as long as its reasonable ie: were all starting from fresh but if you progress at a rate slightly faster than most that's fine. just don't become a nuisance,

Who were looking for?
Were fairly selective on the type of people we enjoy to play with however were hoping to host on a larger scale here. something like 15 - 20 people at first and then potentially upgrading if needed. We're very fond of builders and Roleplayers. However, every good server needs a good group of casual players as well. If you are interested please message me and we can go over any questions you may have.

The server officially started last night around 11pm. So if being early matters to you now would be the time to hop on as nothing has been done at this point.

You don't mention the difficulty setting. Sounds like a decent set up if tuned hard enough to need some community play for bosses and possibly to ease progression into new biomes. If it is so easy that one can just solo it all then the point of multiplayer and community is diminished, IMO.

Raids can be blunted out by building strategy to make them easy. Is the difficulty set to normal, hard, very hard, or being defined by a mod?

Oh yeah so its currently on a hard preset, and with creature level and loot control were in the testing phases. However the current system is this:

Creatures can spawn from 1 - 5 stars with a 20% chance to spawn above a level 1

Per player the health and attack stat of each enemy is increased but at a certain point it falls off as to not make occasional solo play horid

Raids happen with slightly less intensity but more often

Bosses have a few variations as they can now have stars and the very rare elemental effect

@misty marsh my biggest concern with your mod tbh is rn with link portal .. someone can go out of his way explore a tone to discover X but then it can be farm by others , meaning lesser reward for the explorer . unless yall live together but it force the gameplay to have commun house 🤷‍♂️

it bug me a lil loll cause your server seem rly nice , you got all the cool mod but i cant wrap my mind about sailing 2 h to have my area farm by others loll

Hey so a big feature with target portals is private portals. you can set any portal you have to private at any time. so I dont think youd have an issue with people using your stuff. On top of the fact that we HIGHLY encourage our players to use wards. A big goal of ours is to get towns up in every major biome so we certainly do hope people would try to benefit one another though. Nothing wrong with playing a little more casually if thats what they chose.

This sounds about like what I might be looking for, would be interested in joining. Please PM me with any questions you might have to allow for an invite. Thanks!

Also interested in joining. Do I need to get mods in advance or are they all server-side mods?

Oh, I have it already.

I wasn't clear on whether I needed to download anything past the mods listed at the very top, also wasn't sure how the settings worked on something like Azuextendedplayerinventory when joining a server.

Server moderator should be able to give you a code that will import all the mods as a group into a r2modman profile. Many mods are server config'd you can see how they look when you load in. you can prob add congfig manager to tweak client side mods. This group seems like they prob configured a fairly playable experience without having to self tweak tho.
