Experience a fresh take on Valheim using familiar mods but with custom expansions and edits. The core gameplay loop is left untouched, but it has been enhanced to make building a character feel more like an RPG. The idea: start off as a miserable Viking with a torch, and become a legend.
Therzie's armors, MagicPlugin gear, and some vanilla armors, were expanded on to make them feel more like distinct classes, such as a Spellsword or Swashbuckler, and can be upgraded to use up through the Ashlands. Each armor comes with it's own pros and cons when equipped as a set. We also utilize EpicMMO and Almanac, which will allow the freedom to invest in specific character stats, and can spend tokens for temporary buffs.
Mob difficulty then has been adjusted to meet the increase in stats. The server is challenging, but it is not meant to punish; the death-tax is reduced to 1% to minimize grind fatigue. Additional mobs, mini-bosses, clones, and loot goblins with custom spawns will keep the journey feeling fresh.
Additionally, locations and resources reset on a schedule. Dungeons will even receive new layouts a couple times a week. Also, SafeZones, which will be identifiable, will let you know the areas that will not be reset and where mobs cannot spawn.
Many other quality-of-life improvements were added. Clones of build pieces were made smaller, such as kilns and beehives, for compact spacing. Edited stack sizes to be larger for storage, and edited some container capacities. A build cam was added, along with craft from containers, to make building easier and more enjoyable. Indestructible carts. Infinite durability for the hammer, hoe, and cultivator. Longer lasting torches. And more.
The goal here is to offer a playstyle enriching enough that both veterans and newer players alike will enjoy, but not break immersion.
