Easiest trap: Build a 6x6 wooden fence, one side has a tall gate, the other end has a step ladder you can use to hop the fence.
Once you lure the boar inside the gate, run around it and shut the gate, then use the stepladder to escape. Make sure some berries are on the ground before running away to make it lose aggro on you. It will eat the berries and start taming once you are nearby.
