The Saga Continues: The Guild of Gungnir is opening its gates for Season 7! We are a long-standing community of mature gamers (mostly 35-45) starting a fresh world, and we are looking for new blood to join the shield wall.
The Season 7 Challenge: This time, we are embracing a "Fog of War" playstyle.
🗺️ Cartography Table Map Only: The map is disabled while you are out in the world. You can only view the map when standing at a Cartography Table. This makes your base a true command center—you have to plan your voyages before you set sail.
🚫 Limited Portals: No easy escapes. Logistics matter.
🏗️ Infrastructure: Because of the travel restrictions, building roads, bridges, lighthouses, and outposts is a server-wide necessity, not just a hobby.
The Mod Pack: We are running a curated "Medium" list designed to enhance the experience without ruining the vanilla feel:
Quality of Life: Tweaks to inventory and UI to respect your time.
Expanded Content: New weapon tiers (to fill progression gaps) and expanded building pieces to make our infrastructure look amazing.
Logistics & Community:
Region: The server is hosted on a dedicated machine in SW Ontario (Great for NA East/Central ping).
Activity: Most players are active in the afternoons and late evenings (EST).
Communication: We have a Discord for social interaction. Since you can't check the map in the field, Voice Chat is highly encouraged for coordination (and banter).
The Vibe: We are a "Dad/Mom" friendly group. We value a chill atmosphere over min-maxing speed runs.
