Hello Vikings! I am starting a dedicated server (mostly North America but am open to EU as well) You must be willing and able to play for a few hours on most Wednesdays and Fridays in the evenings (9:00 PM Eastern, 8:00 PM Central, 7:00 PM Mountain, 6:00 PM Pacific/ that is 2:00 AM in London, 3:00 AM in Berlin) and some weekends (during the day) to fight bosses, explore and do quests together (we can coordinate).
The world will be left open for resource gathering and base building during non-group time. There will be a few rules:
- You cannot explore biomes that we as a group have not discovered and then, only 1 biome level up from the boss we have fought. (If you are new to the game, I can explain this in detail for you!)
- Everyone will be required to start a new/ fresh character.
- No bringing in resources, tools or gear from another world/ character.
Additionally, I am going to try turn on fire damage. I will try to increase the raids (for a little challenge) and I will try to make the resource drop 1.5X. These are all considered Vanilla settings within the game. I am not adding outside 'mods.' Portals will be normal- no metal through the portals until we get the big portals so there will be boating.
This is a shared resource world with a clan of Vikings who work together and help each other so we can beat the bosses together. No Viking left behind! You can build to your heart's content or stay in the shared dwelling. You will need to pitch in when it comes to resource gathering , farming, hunting and cooking. We will need to communicate, so I will create a Discord channel and it will be in English.
I already have 3 or 4 players but would love to have some fresh blood! I want to get this going around 12/26 and we could all land in at the same time to help any newbies. If this sounds like the kind of world you would like to join or if you have questions, please DM me!
