Gidday mates - we have a dedicated server which is in the end game right now with some QOL mods. Currently our numbers have dwindled down to 3 with others moving to different timezones and not being available to connect due to work/life balance etc.
We're going to reset the server when 1.0 drops and would love some more local players to join us. We are all veteran players in our later 30s and are looking for like minded people to share the experiance. We want to harbour a community with people nearby that extends beyond the warmth of the hearth in Valheim.
If you think this sounds like a bit of you, and would like to meet our group - we would be keen to jam some friend-slop games over the new years break to meet you, and if we gel - we can add you to the server and keep you up to date when we know more about the 1.0 release date.
If you dont mind joining a game in the later stages (we are up to the Queen in the current world) you are more than welcome to join us there too and hang out in anticipation for the deep north!

I'm thinking we are all in the same boat; we want to play on our own servers with our own mod selection, but the relatively small availability of local players have similarly small attention spans for Valheim. Resulting in servers that progress a bit, stall due to player loss and leave the regular people feeling like they need to pause so any new players aren't immediately met with seekers and fulings in the meadows. But then any new players only appear one at a time and expect to see half a dozen other players immediately or they just bail. And even after a dozen or more restarts the pattern continues.
I'm thinking that we need to somehow conspire together to squeeze a game out of this player-scarcity.
