Forest Keep is the result of everything I’ve learned this past year. I tried to focus less on scale and more on the small details and story that make the place feel alive.

Oooh, what are you building? My buddy and I are always brainstorming things we might build for our Deep North play-through. Some style of port is our current favorite.

we are currently building what we call "coast keep" (again, heavily inspired by your build) the idea is to try and build a castle using what you learned as a builder because I really love your style but in our own "theme" wich is here a fortress on the coast (less verticality because it is not needed for defense while still having a presence, something that feels alive and built by craftsmanship and all that while being a complete survival base with everything we need)
and it is my first build on an island ever, I only build on survival because I want to feel the complexity of what makes a build functional and also good looking, I don't think I would enjoy building if I wouldn't have to think about ressources, a good location for defense and practicality as a survival base so yeah I've never touched the hammer-free mod

Your builds are fantastic and I really like how you go through each one and explain not only how but why you built something. You're right up there with JJ, Smitty, Ninebyte and Versaugh for people I get inspiration from.

Just wish I didn't need to compete against you for build of the month submissions! 🤣
